In line with Guidance from Sussex Rugby

Another season has started, and we have been consulted by Sussex Rugby about a rise in abuse of referees across the county. This is not something we condone, not least because they are volunteers doing their best and we can’t play the game without them.

As a club, we will be taking a hard approach to RED CARDS given this season to players, coaches, or spectators found guilty of Match Official abuse, and that will apply across all age grades.

Brighton Football Club (RFU) takes seriously the values of both our club and sport, and as such will not tolerate ill-discipline.

Anyone found guilty will need to attend the club disciplinary hearing and will incur the sanctioned fine associated with this charge. For the avoidance of doubt, Individuals will be responsible for settling any fine

Please take this as the only warning regarding this matter.
